on Wednesdays

WHAT:

St. Luke’s mission is to serve and nurture the young people in our community.

We are beginning a Wednesday after school program. Our goal is to create an ongoing relationship with the Franklin Square children and families that we served at “Camp Imagination” this summer.

We will provide:

  • Healthy snack
  • Homework help and tutoring
  • Play time
  • Learning through the Arts (structured arts integration activity)
  • Dinner – Parents are invited!  Please let us know in advance if you plan to join us so we are sure to have enough food.

WHEN:

Starting on Wednesday, October 12th from school dismissal until 6:00 pm

NOTE to Parents:  Please pick up promptly at 6:00

A SLYC staff member will pick up students at school at dismissal and walk them to St. Luke’s

THEME:

“Be the change you wish to see in the world”-Mahatma Gandhi

NOTE:

It will be necessary for parent or guardian of all attendees to pre-authorize the representative of St. Luke’s after school program as a designated escort on Wednesday afternoons. (These individuals will be known to and identified by office staff.)
