SLYC on Wednesdays

slycWHAT:

St. Luke’s mission is to serve and nurture the young people in our community.

To this end, we provide a Wednesday after school program. Our goal is to maintain our ongoing relationship with the Franklin Square Elementary/Middle School children and families we serve through our “Camp Imagination” summer camp.

We provide:

Healthy snack
Homework help and tutoring
Play time
Learning through the arts (structured arts integration activity)
Dinner – Parents are invited! Please let us know in advance if you plan to join us so that we are sure to have enough food.

WHEN:

Each Wednesday from school dismissal until 6:00 p.m.

NOTE to parents: Please pick up promptly at 6:00 p.m.

A SLYC staff member will pick up students at Franklin Square Elementary/Middle School dismissal and walk them to St. Luke’s.

THEME:

“Be the change you wish to see in the world” (Mahatma Gandhi)

NOTE:

It is necessary that a parent or guardian of all attendees pre-authorize the representative of St. Luke’s after school program as a designated escort on Wednesday afternoons. These individuals are known to and identified by office staff.
